Hi @Scotus , we have heard a similar request from multiple community members in the past month, see examples below. We are working on a way to improve the UX here, and ideally be able to re-run the snippet. I will keep you posted once we release a fix.

I'm in the process of building a template for my team, and one issue we run into is that if the agent attempts to insert while not targeting the original source box, the contents of the template are lost to the void. (This can be a large time sink for my team, to have to re-document a full review.)
Is it possible to use {clipboard} essentially in reverse? ie: I can force a snippet to load it's final contents into my clipboard as a back-up?

I'm pretty careful about being on the correct window or closing the windows when I am working with a snippet. However there are times, like just a moment ago, where I insert and due to some reason or another, I send the snippent and it doesn't make it into what I wanted to. I then have to gather the information back into a new snippet.
If there were an automatic save so that we could bring back a snippet that we had just inserted this would not happen. Or if there were a problem with not being …
