While we've been busy making lots of cool improvements to Text Blaze and Data Blaze, we're super pumped to introduce you to our newest creation: AI Blaze! :tada:

AI Blaze is the fastest way to AI on any website. With it, you can quickly:

  • Chat with any webpage (ask questions above it, summarize it, etc...)
  • Use AI to write responses, emails, or other messages
  • Change the tone of your writing, fix mistakes, or otherwise improve it (this update was edited with AI Blaze)

Here we're using AI Blaze to write an email:

AI Blaze is an evolution of our experimental AI Snippets feature of Text Blaze. Developing AI Snippets we found that there were many things we wanted to add to support AI related use cases but which didn't really make sense for Text Blaze. So we decide to create an offshoot extension AI Blaze that lets us really optimize the experience for AI.

AI Blazes shares a lot of features with Text Blaze. It has shortcuts, forms, the {site} command and much more, but it also has a number of unique features. Here are some of the main unique features:

  • AI Blaze Sidebar: The sidebar allows you to quickly access saved prompts and also ask anything you want of AI Blaze without even creating a prompt.

  • AI Blaze Chat Window: The chat window opens up in the page and shows your conversation with AI Blaze. You can quickly insert text from it and you can ask follow up questions or ask for further revisions.

  • Type a Shortcut Anywhere: AI Blaze shortcuts can trigger even when a text box isn't focus.

We would love to hear your thoughts on AI Blaze so please add it to chrome and let us know what you think. Also, if you would like to see any its features integrated into Text Blaze (like the sidebar or typing a shortcut anywhere) we would love to hear that too.

Is there documentation on what Text Blaze features AI Blaze doesn't support so that users can make an informed decision about whether porting their current workflows over to AI Blaze makes sense?

Hi @Joe_P the differences in features is not documented yet, partly because the feature set in AI Blaze is continuously changing (as we work more on it). Are there any features that you're looking for in particular?

Note that for snippet commands, the key differences are visible in the commands sidebar on the right hand side of the snippet editor. As you will notice, commands for date/time and the form fields, as well as the advanced commands for reading from a table and reading from a website are already available in AI Blaze.

Notable commands that are missing in AI Blaze are for import snippet, user properties, and addons. I believe we plan to support the last two commands soon in AI Blaze.

We are also happy to schedule a Google Meet call to understand your workflows and help port them to AI Blaze, or provide relevant readable documentation. Let us know what works for you.

I am on the pro plan but it says my limit has been exceeded. How come?

I've followed up by email to get details on the limit you are running into.

it stopped working now for me the short cuts dont work all of a sudden help help help Google Chrome
Version 126.0.6478.251 (32 bit)

@Anonymuzz please do the following:

  1. Right click with your mouse on the page
  2. Select the Text Blaze option
  3. Click on "Reload Extension..."

Let me know if it works for you.

Thank you I tried that, it does not work anyore, can not even try out the snippet on the blaze dashboard page.

Hi again thanks for replying, it works now again today all of a sudden. Probably an issue because of my internet/laptop.

This is huge. Most convenient AI helper.

I have two suggestions.

  1. Can you allow us to expand or make chat box slightly bigger. Have to scroll a lot when response is big.
  2. In one of my use case, I have two tabs on same webpage (like this)

It does not read all tabs at a time. However, when I use site command on Director/Signatory details tab, it also reads data from Master data tab.

However, this is great tool to use for all purposes. Thank you

  1. We support making the chatbox bigger by dragging with your mouse. See the diagonal lines in the bottom right corner of the panel, as shown in the image:

  2. Your observation is correct. By default, AI Blaze only attempts to read visible text. To force it to read more text, you can use the {site} command, as you did correctly. We appreciate your feedback and we are open to changing this in the future to improve user experience.
