Scott, if one is creating snippets in markdown Text Blaze being so smart that it assumes a line starting with an * should be a bullet mucks up the formatting in Markdown. Markdown thinks it's code text.
Here's a feature request related tot his:
You can undo the conversion of the '*" to a bullet point by doing cmd/ctrl-z immediately after the Text Blaze editor does the conversion.
