Open AI Pack - Models supported

Hi Team,

It seems like your Open AI Pack is only supporting the v1/completions endpoints? (gpt-3.5-turbo-instruct)

Are you planning to update this to other models soon?

Hi @Daniel_b Welcome to the forum!

We've been experimenting with new ways to use OpenAI models that are faster and easier for end users like you: have you checked out our AI snippets?

They're available for existing Pro/Business users.

We also did a user story on this recently: How to personalize customer support with Text Blaze (user story)

I gave one such response example here:

Please try it out, and let us know how it goes. We'd be happy to help you develop these AI snippets further for your use case (email support@blaze.today).

Thanks, @Gaurang_Tandon - I think this is the one only working in the chrome browser, correct? btw, what model is this one using?

Back to my original question, I was referring to the Open-AI Command pack where we provide our own keys. To me, it seeks to only support the v1/completions endpoints? (gpt-3.5-turbo-instruct)

Are you planning to update this to other models/endpoints soon?

Yes AI snippets works only in the browser currently, and it is using GPT-3.5-Turbo.

We are open to supporting other models in OpenAI command pack, however, we would be first interested to know what is your use case if it is not easily satisfied via AI Snippets. We're trying to improve AI Snippets and make them more user friendly, so your feedback is much appreciated.

You can also email me directly at gaurang@blaze.today with the details if you'd prefer that.

Hi, Is there a plan to introduce BYOK for Openai -like typedesk currently support it? The quality difference when using prompts is important when GPT-4 turbo or o are used

Hi @Paul_D welcome to the community! :slightly_smiling_face:

Regarding BYOK, we have no plans for it currently.

Have you tried out AI Blaze?

We support Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o and GPT-4o mini in AI Blaze. I encourage you to try Sonnet. In our testing, it appears better than GPT-4 Turbo at answering questions in AI Blaze. If you feel GPT-4 Turbo is better than Sonnet at specific cases, please do share them with us and we will look into them.
